About · The person behind the projects

Built through experience.
Driven by curiosity.

I like understanding how things work—and getting to know the people behind them. Sometimes that leads to a better business. Sometimes it means bringing a group together, helping someone move forward, or getting my hands dirty to make an idea real.

“Leave places better
than you found them.”

THE CONNECTING THREAD

Good ideas need
someone to
carry them through.

My background moves between customer service, sales, hospitality, digital marketing and project coordination. Across those different settings, I keep coming back to the same questions: what is getting in the way, what would help, and where can I be useful?

Working with guests, customers, teams, volunteers and business owners has taught me that a good system only gets you so far. People also need to feel heard, know what is happening and trust that you will follow through.

Panini Was Here brings those experiences together. It is where I share the professional work, the creative detours and the lessons I am still learning. I take the work seriously, while keeping room for a conversation, a laugh and a change of perspective.

PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Experience that
crosses disciplines.

A career shaped by direct contact with customers, real operational challenges and the responsibility of getting things done.

The person behind the plans, in the places where the work happens.

The best part of a project is often who you get to build it with.

A project can start with a practical problem and turn into a lasting relationship. That human side matters to me: sharing what I know, learning from someone else and seeing what we can accomplish together.

EMPODERAMIENTO CHAPÍN

Progress should
reach beyond
the project.

Empoderamiento Chapín is a social and philanthropic initiative focused on supporting communities and individuals in Guatemala.

It gives a home to a side of my work that matters deeply to me: helping people access support, bringing willing hands together and finding practical ways to contribute.

For me, that starts with showing up and listening. Each community has people who understand its needs. The work should happen with them, with respect for their knowledge and priorities.

Medical missions & community support

My volunteer background includes translation and coordination for community medical missions, helping teams communicate with families and supporting the organization behind each visit.

Other activities have included food and water-filter distribution, housing initiatives and educational support. Past collaborations include The Walk a Mile Project, Mission Guatemala and university volunteer activities.

People helping people

Volunteer work depends on many small acts of care: making introductions, explaining what is needed, organizing supplies or making sure someone knows where to go. I value that work as much as the bigger plan.

Sharing knowledge & opening conversations

Speaking, workshops and community gatherings are another way to contribute. They create room to exchange ideas, encourage participation and help people see a next step they can take for themselves.

Community work, shared effort and the people who make it possible.

A conversation can be the beginning of someone’s next step.

EDUCATION & CONTINUED LEARNING

Stay curious.
Keep adding
to the toolkit.

I enjoy being a beginner at something again. Formal study gives me structure; working with people and trying things in practice gives that learning somewhere to go.

BEYOND THE JOB DESCRIPTION

A spreadsheet.
A building site.
A dance floor.

Some days I am happiest untangling a process. Other days, I would rather be building something, exploring on a motorcycle, taking photographs or getting lost in a piece of music.

I like the mix. Making things with my hands gives me a different perspective on digital work. Travel gets me asking questions again. Music brings me back to the pleasure of creating something simply because it feels worth creating.

Stoicism and personal growth help me keep my feet on the ground: take responsibility, work on what can be changed, and learn from the rest. I am still practising that.

There is room for discipline and a sense of humour. I want to do good work, enjoy the people around me and have a few stories worth telling along the way.

Some of the most useful lessons arrive when you step away from the desk.

LET’S PUT THAT EXPERIENCE TO WORK

Good work starts
with a conversation.
